Single Stage Correction
The paint is thoroughly cleaned and, if needed, clayed. Then, a single-stage machine polish is performed using a high-gloss polish to enhance the finish. Afterward, the paint is wiped clean and sealed with a wax or ceramic coating.
For best results this service is recommended on new vehicles or vehicles with near perfect paint work.
Two Stage Enhancement
The paint is thoroughly cleaned, clayed, and a full set of paint thickness measurements is taken. A two-stage machine polish is then carried out using a blend of medium and ultra-fine polishes. The paint is then wiped clean and sealed with a wax or ceramic coating. This treatment is ideal for paintwork that has light swirl marks along with a few deeper scratches.
In our experience, most vehicles between 1 and 5 years old benefit from this process to achieve a flawless finish.
Full Correction
The paint is meticulously cleaned, clayed, and assessed with a full set of paint thickness readings. A four-stage machine polishing process follows, utilizing a mix of cutting compound, medium grit, and ultra-fine polishes. The surface is then wiped and sealed with a wax or ceramic coating.
This service is recommended only for high-value vehicles with neglected paintwork. The level of machine polishing required to eliminate deep scratches can be surprising. However, some scratches may be deemed too deep to safely remove by the detailer.
